Show PGT Eze-Breeze Vinyl are a great way to control the airflow in your outdoor living space. But how do you clean them? You don’t need any special equipment or chemicals for this job. But you do need to be careful about how you’re cleaning them and what you’re using to clean! Vinyl is a strong, resilient material specially formulated to resist deterioration from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. With proper care and cleaning, Eze-Breeze sliding panels will give you years of trouble-free service and will prevent them from drying out or becoming brittle. Pro Tip: Extend the Life of Your Eze-Breeze VinylFor best results, we recommend a final cleaning with a moderate amount of PGT Vinyl Cleaner available in our showroom for purchase. It will prolong the life of your Eze-Breeze Sliding Panels and reduce static electric charges that attract dust. Clean your Eze-Breeze sliding panels at least twice a year! CAUTION Remove rings, bracelets, watches or other objects that can puncture or cut the vinyl before cleaning. Warnings

Get Ready to CleanMake sure your vinyl panels are cool before cleaning. It’s a good idea to hose off the outside panels to remove sand and grit. You’ll need a vacuum cleaner, a soft cloth, water, and your choice of Woolite®, Murphy’s Oil Soap®, or the manufacturer’s vinyl cleaning solution. Do not use alcohol- or ammonia-based products or dishwashing detergent, as they can damage vinyl. Start With the FrameUse the soft brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner to remove loose dirt and dust from the panels. Tip Out the Vinyl PanelsRelease the pressure catch on your panel system and lower all panels to the bottom position. Then release the side latches on the front panel and tip the top of the panel toward you. Use a chair to rest the panels when they are tipped out. (Make sure the bottom panel stays in the track.) Gently Wash the Eze-Breeze PanelsRinse your panels with clear water first, then use your soft cloth to wipe them with a mixture of water and the solution you selected from above. Return your panels to their normal position after cleaning. Eze-Breeze vinyl panels can be used to create patio enclosures that make terrific, cost-efficient alternatives to glass sunrooms. They can also be configured to fit across your garage, thus providing a transparent wall that lets in natural light and offers an ample view of the outdoors.
