Download and install Rust

1. Click the Download button below and you should be directed to UploadHaven.
2. Wait 5 seconds and click the blue “Download Now” button. Now let the download begin and wait for it to finish.
3. After Rust has downloaded, right-click the zip file and click “Extract to RUST.Incl.Multiplayer.zip”. (You will need 7-Zip for this, which you can get Here).
4. Double click in the Rust> bin> right click and run ‘AUUpdater’ as administrator to update the game. A black prompt box will appear and the launcher will update. Let the game update and don’t close it until it’s done.
5. When done, log into your Steam account (new account recommended), go to the Rust folder, right click and run ‘RustClient’ as administrator. Once in the game you can browse a multiplayer game. Once the server is loaded, press F1 to log in.

Important: You must be signed in to Steam before you can run the Rust client. I recommend a new Steam account to avoid bans. Follow the video steps and make sure to install ‘dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64’ and ‘DXSETUP’ in the Redist folder to avoid missing DLL errors.

NOTE:: This game is pre-installed for you so you don’t have to install it. If you encounter missing DLL errors, look for a _Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install directx, vcredist, and any other programs in that folder. Also, make sure you right click on the exe and always select “Run as administrator” if you have trouble saving the game.
