Is there a magic mirror in divinity 1?

Original Sin is considered a top tier isometric RPG and its sequel Divinity: Original Sin II is no different. It has an emphasis on player direction, allowing you to customize your character right down to their backstory. It goes beyond just putting points into skills or stats to immerse players into Divinity's world, and simple choices affect your character's story. Sometimes though, we're a little hasty in creating a character or aren't sure about something until its tried. In a major RPG like this, starting over sucks, but that's where the Magic Mirror comes in.

Typically everything is set in stone (for the most part) after leaving the character creation screen, but the Magic Mirror allows players to change nearly everything about their character. It's just a matter of unlocking it, and there are two ways to do so.

The regular way is by progressing through the story. At the beginning of Act II, your character will board a ship called Lady Vengeance. On its lower deck is the Magic Mirror, and you can go to it pretty much right away. Later on, the ship becomes inaccessible, but the Mirror can still be found at the Hall of Echoes and can be teleported to. The second way to unlock it, and it's arguably the easier way. You'll do so by enabling Gift Bag # 2's goodies, which was a free update that came with the announcement of the Switch version of Divinity: Original Sin II. Things included in it can be enabled through the menu screen, including the Fort Joy Magic Mirror. It doesn't simply break immersion and place it in the open, though. You still have to do some leg work.

It's relatively near the beginning of the game, making it easier and faster to access. Simply head towards the Fort Joy Ghetto, then go south towards the waypoint statue. Behind the statue is the Ghetto's kitchen, where you'll learn about the Arena of Fort Joy by talking to Noosey. This will unlock the hatch leading there, and the staging area is where you'll find the Magic Mirror.

The Magic Mirror can be used to change a number of things about your character. This includes stats, appearance, origin, voice, class, tags, talents, attributes and even those of your party. The only things that can't be altered are your race and skills. Skills have to be reset or added through other means. It's perfect if you want to try something new or just put points into the wrong places. Just be aware that changing your character can change your tags and alter other's attitudes towards you. The Magic Mirror can be used an infinite number of times, so try as many new things as your heart desires, without restarting the game.
