Keyless start system problem honda pilot 2022

Answer 1: Use soak shield rope before installation.    Answer 2: If the battery died, that may be the issue.   Answer 3: This is caused by getting some of the electric components wet. Put a fan inside the vehicle and let it dry for 24 hours.    Answer 4: Although this error message appears on the dashboard, there are actually computers in the side doors that can cause this issue. Make sure you protect the doors from getting overly wet while installing. That said, this issue usually goes away with time if you let the car dry out.    Answer 5: In some cases, this may be due to a faulty sensor. If you take it to the dealership, they may replace the sensor if the car is still under warranty. In addition, you can purchase a dash protector to avoid these issues in the future.    Answer 6: You can sometimes get the car to start by holding the fob on the start button and pushing it with the fob.

The most common reason that there is a problem with the keyless start system in a 2017 Honda Pilot is due to a dead battery in the key fob. The key fob in Your car has a transponder in it that communicates with the receiver in the cabin. If Your battery is dead then the antenna does not have the strength to reach the receiver to let it know to turn on. The next most likely problem with the keyless start system is that the fob has lost memory. When this happens You will need to re-progRam it to match the car. This can be done fairly easily by following the key pairing guide.

If the 2016 Honda Pilot is not starting keyless then there are two reasons. The first is that the battery in the key fob is dead and needs to be replaced. The other is that the fuse by the steering wheel has burned out. To get to the fuse box look to the left of the steering wheel look for a small seam or crack along the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar You will want to pop this open. On the inside, You will find a bunch of fuses. On the back of the panel that You pulled open, You will see a diagram that will show You what each of the fuses is for. If this is not on the back of the panel then You can also find it in the owner's annual for the vehicle. Once You have figured out which fuse You need simply pull it out. The two sections that stick up should be connected by a thin strip of metal. If this has been broken then the fuse is no good and will need to be replaced. If this strip is there then the fuse is fine and can be popped back in. New fuses will cost You about 10 dollars, so they are pretty cheap.

I have a HondaPilot 2016 and I have the same problem why is Honda not doing a recall?

Replaced batteries in both key fobs today. Batteries were brand new and tested fine with A voltimeter. Nothing happens when I push buttons on them or go near my car. Please help.

I have a 2016 Pilot and just got the code. My service rep says HE thinks it is caused by some animal chewing my wires.Absolutely ridiculous! Not true so this has to be a design issue with the Pilot. I plan to take this to the Honda Corp. My Pilot is a 2016.

The key fob can be unpaired with the car, and more commonly the battery in the key fob will die and it will not work.

This problem could be key pairing, week remote battery or may due to faulty push start button

The issue is the push button itself. I bought a new one and replace it and the issue went away
