Legend of the Galactic Heroes blu-ray Reddit

The only thing that i could think of is that the subs are of higher quality, the fansubs are for the most part fine but you do have the odd line every now and then

But then again the Box release also doesn't have those white subs that helps you keep track of the characters, so yeah, not exactly something i would want to own

Again, I don't even regret it.
Comically, I don't own a Blu-ray player. But it should be arriving soon.

The Book is probably the best part.
It has a Timeline, Character list, and each and every episode and movie is detailed and lists every song in that specific episode.

Is it worth $800? lol
Probably not.
But there's no way the Japanese executives are going to ever release a Standard edition of this Version out of fear of Reverse Importation.

Compared to the Japanese prices, I think it was worth it.

Now all I need to do is collect those LaserDiscs.

I have one. Honestly, the large triangular box was overkill- I just stuck it in a storage closet where it takes up a lot of room. Would have been fine with just a slipcase for the four box sets.

The coins and art are nicely done, but I would have preferred a translated version of the LD box set goodies, as there was a lot of good info there.

Dude if you bought this you got ripped. Sentai hasn't release english language sub or dub yet. This probably someone burned the fansub into Bluray disc.

Also Bluray box 1 has ep 1-26 not 1-55 as advertise the listing you link.

Is Legend of the Galactic Heroes Season 1 and 2 on Blu-ray selling on Amazon.com region free or not. If not which region doss it support as I live in Norway.

The funi releases aren't region free, they're NTSC A/B. Pretty sure you guys use PAL, but that shouldn't be an issue unless your setup is ancient. Region B is the standard code for Europe.
