King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword was literally shot all over the map in the UK, with locations including Snowdonia National Park in Wales, which features snow-peaked mountains and is where Excaliber itself is said to rest. The scene where Arthur throws his sword into a lake was filmed near Nant Gwynant.
