Our old Panasonic phones were working, but the answering machine had quit. I was pleased at how well I can hear on these phones. There were changes to get used to with the new phones, but they're fairly explicit. My husband and I use the conference call option frequently. We're long-time Panasonic fans.

These do the job. My only complaint is that the number buttons are stiff and you have to push on them more than I would like. Sometimes I have to redial because I missed a number because it did not press down.

Re volume cantrol, I’m very hard of hearing and even with my hearing aid I have difficulty. But with the speaker on I can hear fine.

Always like to wait couple of months before reviewing purchases. This is an excellent product. Very easy and fast to block spam calls.

I love the numbers are large enough for the visually inspired to see. You can listen to your voicemail messages with the touch of a button, and it tells you who is calling by name and number. Its so easy for my dad to use! We ALL LOVE it! ❤

Yes I still have a landline. It works just fine. It gives me a phone in different rooms where it’s needed. I like that it is wireless and I don’t need a phone cord anywhere. If you still use the landline, this product is perfect

I love all the features of this phone

I ordered this Panasonic cordless phone system to replace a similar, older Panasonic system that was wearing out. My wife and I really liked the older system so we wanted to replace it with one that was similar. This phone system arrives in a smaller box than expected, but everything is well packed and protected from damage in the box. The main base unit that has the telephone answering system in it is a little smaller than our old base unit, which accounts for the smaller box. The handheld phones are a small enough size to carry around comfortably if desired but large enough to provide decent volume. The system comes with belt clips that can be attached to the handheld phones if desired. Each of the phones operates with two AAA sized rechargeable NiMH batteries (included), and the system is designed so stored battery power in the handheld phones can be used to power the system in the event of a power failure.

The answering system can be easily turned on or off with the press of a button on the base unit or by one of the handheld phones depending on your needs. In our case we have voicemail so the answering system is an unnecessary feature. I did discover, though, that it defaults to "on" right out of the box and will answer a call after 3 rings. It recorded a junk phone call, and the recording was good. You can adjust the length of recording time available for a message, and messages are easy to listen to and delete. There is a large numeric display that shows how many phone messages have been recorded, and a light on the top of the phone will also flash to tell you there are recorded messages to hear. Our cats have a tendency to march on top of the phone and can accidentally turn the answering machine on by stepping on the button on the base unit. You can easily tell if the answering system is on or off, though, by whether or not the numeric display is lit.

Voice clarity and volume is good on the handsets. There is no audible noise or interference with sound quality. The handsets can be used as speakerphones, and they can also be used as an intercom system. There is a locator function built into the base unit that can help you find a lost handset. Panasonic sells additional handsets that can be paired with the system to extend the number of handsets in your home. It is expensive to do this, though, and is more cost effective to simply buy an additional system and pair them together. In our case, between our older system and this new one we have five functional phone handsets scattered about the house which more than meets our needs.

Overall, my wife and I are very happy with this Panasonic cordless phone system. It has good voice quality, is inexpensive and very versatile. One caveat, though. The phone system uses a larger number of numeric codes to program various things it can be configured to do. They are listed in the included owner's manual, which you will want to keep in a safe place for future reference. The manual can also be downloaded as a .pdf file from the Panasonic web site.

4.0 out of 5 stars Consider local vs long distance callback use

Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on December 2, 2018

I have been completely satisfied with all of the Panasonic cordless phones I’ve had in the past. This latest version has some great improvements e.g. clearer talking caller ID, call block feature, larger buttons to help prevent mis-keying. The only new feature that I find frustrating is the addition of #1 (long distance) to all phone numbers including local calls. This means having to rekey local phone numbers rather than being able to redial automatically.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this technically advanced cordless system!

When my old Panasonic cordless died, I was gifted with a V-Tech four handset system which I hated for a number of reasons. So I ordered this three handset Panasonic system from Amazon and I love it. It is so much more technically advanced than my original cordless. The numbers are large, the answering machine is easy to set up and use, the 58 page instruction booklet is very detailed and easy to follow, the base and handsets vocally announce who is calling, adding or changing contacts to one handset copies to all handsets; but the best feature of all is the "call block" button to block the hundreds of soliciting, fraudulent or unknown-number calls received. If only it could take pictures !

5.0 out of 5 stars EL DISPLAY MUY GRANDE

EN GENERAL SON DE MUY BUENA CALIDAD Y EL PRECIO ESTUVO MUY BUENO, LO ELEGÍ POR EL DISPLAY PORQUE OTROS SON MUY PEQUEÑOS Y NO LOS ALCANZO A VER, ESTE ESTA GRANDE Y SE VE MUY BIEN, SE OYEN PERFECTO Y NO SE OYE NADA DE RUIDO EN LA LINEA

5.0 out of 5 stars Simplemente excelente.

Reviewed in Mexico 🇲🇽 on April 6, 2018

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good phones!

Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on March 2, 2020

It’s easy to set up. The phone feels good in the hand. The clarity of sound is very good. Audio caller ID was not preset which was nice as it’s annoying. The locator is great and I love the answering machine because it was easy to record my message and the read out of how many messages is bright and easy to spot from across the room. I did not give it 5 stars for 1 reason. If I’m working at the kitchen counter, have the phone on speaker and lay the phone flat, the person at the other end of the phone can’t hear me. The phone needs to be standing and it needs to be close by in order for my voice to be heard. So a little improvement of voice capture in the speaker phone and I would give this Panasonic a 5. Over all, I’m very happy with it :)
