One day I was recently shopping around Amazon for a GBA SP-AGS 101 console. They come in many colors
and in 2 different versions, the AGS-001 with one backlight setting and the AGS-101 with 2 backlight settings.
I wanted a GBA SP-AGS-101 that was different, unique, and rare. Well, the Spongebob Squarepants version was
the console that immediately caught my eye. To be honest with you, I've never been a Spongebob Squarepants
fan of any sort. But the image of his face on a GBA-SP is just appealing to me. Those other GBA-SP's in various
colors have no personality, just a blank shell. With Spongebob, he always has a happy, funny, smile on his face.
The seller I bought it from took great care of Spongebob, I'd say it's in very good condition for a console that old.
To my knowledge, they were sold at Toy's R US stores across the US. On Amazon, there are many listed in various
prices & condition and sold in various states across the US. If you're looking for one, I recommend you do the following:
1. E-mail the seller and ask questions and for pictures of the actual item.
2. Ask if the charger is included.
These are the sellers you should avoid buying from:
1. Bit Replay-Nevada
2. NY DAD GAMES716
There are other bad, rip-off sellers on Amazon. Just read their buyer feedback and you'll be okay. Most sellers
are honest, and will be happy to answer all your questions and even send you pictures of the actual item.

this device is the best and even better then i thought and theres a secret to this device of which you need to know!!!

1. This device can be saved by rebuilding the device its simple to do.

First off if you have one of these devices you can use paints to restore the art work and even better purchase a screwdriver to take apart the Gameboy advance sp one apart the main shell can be repainted along with the artwork and even better you can order a replacement screen lens for the gameboy advance sp as well so dont let a small scratch disturb you when paint can fix it!!

2. get a great paint brush

pay at least 10.00 for a small paint brush 2.99 don't work and leave hairs behind.

3. get a spray on clear coat that you can spray into a throw away container and paint it on with the brush after restoring the artwork with paints

once dry reassemble the gameboy advance and your art work will never fail fade or wipe off again

A complete dissapointment. Not only does the gameboy advance not turn on, it cant even charge. Do not waste your time or money on these people.

i was looking for something to get my little brother and i thought to myself why not this, since he really likes Spongebob i decided to get him this one, i didnt want to go all out and get him something that he wouldnt understand how to work. so this is great at a great price. im glad i got it for him.. once he gets the hang of playing im gonna upgrade to something better...

Should be mentioned in the product description that a charger is not included. These can be hard to get a hold of.

The shipment came quick and the product was in very good shape. I was worried about the design possibly being weathered by use, but the weathering was very minimal.

Considering it was $50, many other vendors wanted more for an even more damaged product.

Very happy with the purchase.
