In the other corner of the ring, we have a Fist-type armament called Grafted Dragon. While you cannot two-hand this weapon, what you can do with it in one hand is more than enough for pure entertainment. To find Godrick the Grafted, you have to cover the Stormveil Castle area. Both this Ash of War skill and the Axe of Godfrey are worth a shot on your first playthrough of Elden Ring. 

You can find Godfrey, the First Elden Lord in Leyndell, Ashen Capital which is only accessible after beating the aforementioned Malekith, the Black Blade. Without going through the latter, the Rune of Death won’t be unbound and you’ll never get to see the Great Erdtree burning. There is a handful of bosses in Elden Ring, some of them optional while others mandatory to defeat, that boast a higher status than the rest of your adversaries in the Lands Between. You’ll find demigods, legends, and a singular god, which is the Elden Beast, sporting these ranks. 

As soon as you kill any of these top-tier bosses in Elden Ring, you get their Remembrance. In literal terms, this word refers to the commemoration of the great foe you fought, making the player look back to the fight in retrospect and draw power from it. Now, the major benefit of Remembrances in Elden Ring purely revolves around the provision of exceptional equipment to the Tarnished. There’s a non-player character (NPC) who resides in the Lands Between, particularly at the Roundtable Hold, and serves as the Finger Reader. Her name is Enia and she houses the power to unlock the potency of Remembrances.

She’s absolutely integral to our time in the game and the Tarnished relies on her to brave the ugly terrors of the in-game world. After you slay a boss that grants you a particular Remembrance, take it to Enia, hover over to the specific menu, and unlock the item’s true power. Usually, you then have to make a choice between three different options. You can either receive a large number of Runes for the Remembrance or choose one out of two unique weapons, incantations, sorcery spells, tools, or a mix of all these. 

As you’ve read in the article above, each boss has its distinct Remembrance that thereby offers its very own set of rewards. The Remembrance of the Blood Lord, for example, allows you to get your hands on Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear or the Bloodboon incantation. How to Duplicate a Remembrance in Elden Ring

Now that you’re all caught up on Remembrances, what they are, and which ones are the bests to duplicate, it’s only logical to understand the exact methodology you’ll use to achieve the latter. Little do many people know, Remembrances cannot be duplicated with the help of Enia at the Roundtable Hold. The process, we’re afraid, is a bit more involved than that. 

You’ll have to go for a ride in the Lands Between and seek out enormous entities called Walking Mausoleums. These look like giant buildings roaming around the area with turtle-like bodies. Usually, you’ll find a Walking Mausoleum bearing numerous bells, each of which rings when the structure moves and changes its position. You’ll find 7 of these creatures scattered all across the in-game world of Elden Ring. 

The game plan for duplicating a Remembrance is to first locate a Walking Mausoleum and get as close to it as possible. Now, you’ll have to delve into your fair share of exploration to dig these creatures out. However, if we’re to nudge you in the right direction, one of the easiest Walking Mausoleum to get your swords on roams around in the Weeping Peninsula region, particularly northwest of Minor Erdtree.

Check out the following screenshot if you’re after a visual explanation of the Walking Mausoleum’s location. As for Weeping Peninsula, this section is easily accessible even if you’re at the very start of the game. Simply travel southeast from main Limgrave, which is where you initially arrive after stepping out of the tutorial, and you’ll eventually come across the region in question. 

Once you’ve located the Walking Mausoleum, look for crystalline accumulations on the feet of the entity. There are 4 limbs in total that you have to cover and cut down the silver-colored rock deposits from. Take your time with the process and watch out for its stomping attacks. 

Some Walking Mausoleums, however, aren’t accessible in a free-roam area and will warrant you to get on top of them by jumping down from a higher platform. In those cases, you’ll finish off the crystalline deposits present on the upper surface of the creature.

In terms of all the weapons featured in the game, there is a particular set of armaments that are blatantly considered a class apart. In retrospect, the Dark Souls series of video games featured Boss Souls to collect and utilize, ultimately unlocking powerful weapons, magic, or other items of interest. What Elden Ring sports instead of Boss Souls are Remembrances. We’re sure followers of Soulsborne titles can painlessly see eye to eye with this. 

Remembrances function the same way as Boss Souls do. You first obtain them by slaying powerful demigod enemies prowling in the Lands Between and make your way to Enia—the Finger Reader—to unlock the Remembrance and manifest its potential. Normally, you’d use a Remembrance once and that would mean the end of it, bestowing upon the player one item out of the other different options associated with it.

However, Elden Ring features an exciting alternative for players looking to bag all the goodies for themselves. There is a way to duplicate the best Remembrances in Elden Ring, so you can experience the best of both worlds in most cases. However, there is a limit with respect to the number of times you can get this twofold benefit. As explained in the write-up above, there are 7 Walking Mausoleums spread all around the Lands Between. 

These entities house the capability of creating a copy of the Remembrance you want, thereby allowing you to rush to Enia at the Roundtable Hold and get yourself the other item associated with the Boss Soul. Unfortunately, you can only repeat this a total of 7 times in correspondence with the number of Walking Mausoleums in the game. If your requirements exceed that number, the only option left is to start Elden Ring anew and make unique choices as compared to your previous playthrough.
