Rachel sent Jordan V. home after their one-on-one date

During The Bachelorette 2022 Episode 2, Rachel and Gabby went on their first one-on-one dates. Rachel was excited to spend the day with Jordan V., a drag racer who connected with her on night 1. Rachel and Jordan experienced a zero gravity plane together and seemed to be having a great time. Unfortunately, the chemistry wasn’t entirely there.

During their dinner that evening, Rachel struggled with realizing that something was missing between her and Jordan V. She sadly decided to send him home, which shocked the other men in the household. However, Gabby later praised Rachel for making the difficult decisions necessary for The Bachelorette.

Gabby and Rachel sent Chris home after his inappropriate discussion of Fantasy Suites

Early in the episode, Chris Austin rubbed several of the men the wrong way by discussing his opinions on Fantasy Suites. He essentially stated that he wouldn’t want to be with Rachel or Gabby if they had slept with another man before him in Fantasy Suites.

Later at the cocktail party, Quincey, Jordan H., and Hayden relayed their concerns to Rachel, who passed them on to Gabby. Rachel and Gabby addressed Chris personally but felt that he was “dancing around the issue.”

Finally, Gabby stated, “At this point, I don’t want anyone to be thinking about Fantasy Suites. It’s so early. We don’t even know if we have a connection. And it sounds like you have pretty sure thoughts on it, so to not even put you in that place, I do think it would be time for you to go.” Rachel agreed, and she and Gabby walked Chris out. However, Chris walked back into the mansion to confront the men, and Rachel and Gabby told him to leave yet again.

An additional five men went home during ‘The Bachelorette’ 2022 Episode 2 rose ceremony

The Bachelorette 2022 Episode 2 featured the first rose ceremony of the season. Host Jesse Palmer explained that the roses handed out the evening were from both women, meaning they both wanted the remaining men around. Logan, Nate, and Johnny secured roses prior to the ceremony.

In all, 21 men advanced to week three, with six men getting sent home in the rose ceremony. Matt L., Justin B., John A., Brandan H., Colin F., and Ryan M. were sent packing.

It was still raining men for Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia on Monday night’s second episode of The Bachelorette.

The first edition of the ABC reality show featuring two women also began with the largest number of guys—32!

But in episode one, Gabby, 31, and Rachel, 26, had given three suitors the boot.

While 29 guys remained, as episode two began, the ladies were disappointed that they couldn’t throw a planned pool party on a rare rainy day in Los Angeles.

Later, the gals mandated that the men at the mansion compete in a swimsuit pageant indoors instead.

They donned tiny Speedos and Ryan sighed, “It covers next to nothing. The things you do for love, right?”

Host Jesse Palmer revealed the prize—the guys who showed the most personality and skin would be invited to an after-party at the girls’ house.

Rachel asked Logan how his exes would describe him and he replied, “Stubborn, honest, kind.”

Logan said before a relationship becomes a butterfly, it has to start as a worm—and got down on the floor and did a zany worm dance as everyone cheered.

As the guys’ assets under their tight swim trunks were obscured by ABC’s cameras, Gabby joked that there was “stiff competition.”

A talent show commenced in which one bachelor did a handstand and another juggled. Sexy broker Jacob donned glasses with his leopard Speedo and told the women how to save on a mortgage.

Italian food enthusiast James, nicknamed “Meatball,” poured a whole jar of spaghetti sauce over his body!

The gals asked the guys questions about previous relationships, and ICU nurse Gabby told the cameras, “I think Rachel and I find some of the same guys attractive and there’s some overlap but we are allowing ourselves space to figure it out together.”

Who got selected for the party after standing out at the pageant?

In the end, six guys—Aven, Logan, Brandan, Jason, Johnny, and Colin—got party invites.

During one-on-one time with Rachel, Jason admitted he felt more connected to Gabby. Disappointed Rachel hoped her night would turn around.

But things got worse when she spied Gabby kissing Johnny during the party!

Rachel lamented that she was having small talk with the men “that you could have with your cousin.”

However, that changed when Logan told Rachel, who was dumped on Clayton Echard’s Bachelor season along with pal Gabby, that she was brave to try the reality show again.

They kissed and Rachel told the cameras she really liked Logan.

But Logan later kissed Gabby, too!

Soon, the girls admitted to each other they were both attracted to him. Gabby kept mum that she had kissed Logan too.

Who got Gabby and Rachel’s first group date roses?

During the first of the episode’s rose ceremonies, each bachelorette saved one guy with a rose. Rachel gave hers to Logan while Gabby smiled awkwardly. Gabby then awarded her rose to Johnny. In confessional, Gabby said she would give Rachel space with Logan because “it’s not worth stepping on her toes.”

We knew this might happen with two bachelorettes and one pool of men!

Who got Rachel’s first one-on-one date?

Rachel chose race car driver Jordan V. for hers but she was the one who took the wheel to speed him along the California coast in a vintage convertible.

Then the flight instructor and Jordan took to the skies in a zero gravity plane, kissing while floating in the fuselage.

Back at the mansion, mentality coach Chris bugged other men by mentioning the famed “fantasy suites,” which always take place near the end of the show. In them, bachelorettes are permitted to share private rooms with their finalists while cameras are turned off.

Chris arrogantly said it would be a deal breaker for him if they had sex with his rivals and he would just leave.

Spencer felt that it was disrespectful to Gabby and Rachel to already be talking about fantasy suites.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Jordan continued their date at the historic 1931 movie palace, the Los Angeles Theater, with dinner in the grand lobby.

Jordan told Rachel because she was a pilot, they shared similar spirit.

In a cut back to the house, Quincey told Chris he shouldn’t talk about fantasy rooms, but Chris asserted that if the female slept with someone else, “I wouldn’t be interested in that person.”

Other guys accused Chris of gamesmanship, with Logan noting he seemed controlling.

Nate said, “This could be our queen…You cannot have pre-conditions to love.”

Then vulnerable Jordan told Rachel about his parents’ divorce and how he cared for his siblings.

Rachel told the cameras, “He’s being honest but I just know there is something missing.”

In a private chat with a producer, Rachel said she wanted to like Jordan, but sobbed that he wasn’t the one.

The teary-eyed blonde beauty returned to the dinner table and holding her rose, told Jordan, “There is something that is missing for me tonight. I can’t give you this rose.” She walked him out, telling the cameras, “I feel horrible. There’s something I can’t shake. It just wasn’t meant to be.”

Other men were shocked when Jordan removed his bags from the house.

Who got Gabby’s first one-on-one date?

A delighted Nate received his date card invitation from Gabby. While prepping for his outing with her, Nate knew he’d have to tell her he already had a daughter.

The brunette stunner and Nate kissed passionately during a romantic helicopter ride over L.A. Gabby was “super into” him and they later continued making out in a hot tub.

During their dinner at L.A.’s historic Union Station, Nate told Gabby he was a father to a girl, age 6. “She is my world,” he said.

Gabby replied, “You’re going to make me cry. That’s so sweet.”

Gabby told Nate she had a close relationship with her own dad, but not her mom.

In confessional, the nurse revealed that she would have to decide if she could deal with a man who already had a kid.

But Gabby gave Nate the rose to continue in the competition.

“I think I’ve been afraid to be a mom sometimes,” Gabby told the camera, but thought Nate could give her the confidence not to be scared.

The gals had canceled episode one’s rose ceremony, but the remaining guys faced elimination this time.

Rachel confirmed that she had sent Jordan home and warned the rest that “one conversation can truly change everything.”

Personal trainer Mario, who had stood out in episode one, picked her up in his arms.

“I finally feel like the bachelorette tonight,” Rachel raved.

But Quincey and a few other guys then sparked drama, deciding to tell Rachel about Chris’ weird fantasy suite comments.

Rachel was shocked when they spilled the beans, commenting, “I don’t even know why sex is being brought up.” She pulled Gabby aside to tell her that Chris felt “if we slept with someone else he would leave and not tell us.”

Gabby pouted to the cameras that Chris was “disrespectful of our journey and our process.”

Gabby and Rachel confronted Chris, with the nurse asking him if he felt it was “appropriate to be talking about fantasy suites this early?”

Chris implied he didn’t want his lady sleeping with someone else, but Rachel called him condescending.

Gabby said to Chris it was “time for you to go” and they walked him out the door! She snarked, “That was literally disgusting” and “he’s not the guy for us.”

But Chris walked back into the house to confront other guys about tattling on him.

Outraged Gabby and Rachel told him they’d already asked him to leave—and he finally did.

In a joint rose ceremony at episode’s end, both ladies agreed on the men continuing in the competition.
