I put my birth year as 2018. Now its super hard to say things without safe chat. I have emailed roblox about this and all they could do was send me an article of how to change your birthday if you were 13+. They still have not contacted me of how I could fix it since I accidentally put my birth year to 2018. It monitors out everything like numbers so I cant say "ill be there in one minute" or "ill be there in one sec". Its super hard for me do say the simplest sentences. Now people with their age 13 or higher can say the simple sentences without it being covered in hashtags (#). If there was a way we could email roblox saying our age it would be very easy. Roblox already hides bad words or inappropriate phrases or words. I dont think a 2 year old would be playing roblox. when i'm playing jailbreak sometimes it wont let me say "bank" so people could rob with me. Even though there are bad people on the app doesn't mean we should be stopped from saying numbers or harmless sentences that are nice and appropriate. If it doesn't happen then I would have to wait 11 years for it to have me as 13+ but I would be 24-25 and I probably wont be playing roblox anymore. If this was changed i'd have a way better time on the app. If its not gonna go through ill be upset because I have put so much money into this app and if its not gonna work i'd want a full refund. Roblox does not allow changing of your age while under 13. However, it is possible that contacting support can change your age. Roblox support, when contacted with simple note, will not change your age and point to the laws that they have to follow. However, if you over 13, and you set your birthdate to an under 13 age, it is possible that when contacted with proof of age, the team will be confident that you are not faking it. Therefore, if you are over 13, you may want to consider fishing up your birth certificate or driver's licence to send to the support team. With such proof of age, I don't see any reason why they can think you're faking it. If they then play the "prove that this ID belongs to you" card, send a video of you holding your ID and waving at the camera. This of course, all depends on whether you are comfortable sharing a photo ID, and your own face with a support team in San Mateo. It's also a long shot, but it's got enough merit to consider.
