All Rights Reserved.Language: Rescue Rangers Parents GuideThere is a bit of language that parents should be aware of in this one, but it’s fairly mild overall. Kids will hear h@ll once and g-d used in conjunction with phrases a couple of times. Other words like butt, boob, dang, idiot, ugly, fart and are used. Rescue Rangers is ok for most kids, but please note the few exceptions. Is Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers Safe For Kids? Sex and NudityThere’s no overt sex or nudity in this one to be concerned with. There is a reference to Chippendales dancers in the very beginning with a picture of the classic bow tie and black spandex shirtless men. But that’s as sexy as Rescue Rangers get. Chip N Dale is kid-friendly when it comes to sex or nudity. All Rights Reserved.Violence and Gore In Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers: Is It Too Scary For Kids? It’s mostly cartoon violence and cartoon characters that are put in peril. Real guns and a harpoon are used as weapons, as well as a scary-looking surgical machine that is clearly meant to cause disfigurement of the cartoon characters. There is one scene that plays more like a horror movie, however, with a live-action actor fighting a cartoon character. It could be scary for young children (the music and lighting play into that genre of film for this scene). There are also a few intense jump scares that might make a younger child nervous! Adult ThemesPlease note: a lot of the humor is physical that will play well for kids. But many of the jokes and Rescue Ranger’s dialogue are aimed squarely at adults of the Millennial age. It likely may go over their heads, but be aware that some things are said that could be questioned by a child later. There is also a scene where the characters look to drink beer and make a toast as well as a reference to a drug addiction. Does this make Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers ok for your family? What ages can watch Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers? We think kids as young as 5 or 6 could potentially see this one. But this will depend on how your family feels about cartoon disfigurement and slapstick humor. Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers is fairly safe and family-friendly for most kids with parental guidance.
