I just bought this game but have been unable to set up a 2nd player on split screen. Can anyone tell me how I do this?

As long as your second wiimote is connected, I'm not sure what problem you would be having. You can even go in and select different control options for each player.

I do have both remotes connected and have even been able to go in and do the settings on both remotes, but when I go to multi players, it will not allow me to choose split screen. Both remotes are brand new. And I've had this happen on both the one I rented, and on the one that I bought. I wondered if there was some secret I don't know about. I don't spend much time playing myself, but for my sanity, I need both my kids to be able to both play at one time.

I would like to be more helpful but I'm really not sure where you are getting stuck at. Are you sure you are not selecting the online multi-player? Because if you are doing that, there is no split screen for that.

All I can tell you is that I have played several games of two players/split screen. It is there, so as long as your wiimotes are connected and you are not in the online multi-player area, you should be able to find it.
