Licensing requirements are similar to other states such as California. The state’s regulating agency  controls what you need to do. Obviously you’ll need to complete schooling as mentioned above, but what do you do after you’ve graduated? The answer: do a couple of more exams to satisfy the board that you are a capable.

Once that is done, then and only then, will they issue you your license. The license you get will depend on whether you are qualified to perform chemical services or not. If yes then you will get a full barber’s license. If no, then you will get a restricted barber’s license.
